Insalata Caprese
Straight from the Isle of Capri!
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh mozzarella cheese sliced 1/4" thick
- 4 large ripe tomatoes, sliced 1/4" thick
- 1/3 cup fresh basil
- 1 - 2 Tbsp . Tastealotta 18 yr Traditional Dark Balsamic Vinegar
- 3 Tbsp . Tastealotta Melgarejo Hojiblanca Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Instructions

Place sliced tomatoes and sliced mozzarella on a plate, alternating items.

Thinly slice the fresh basil and sprinkle over the tomatoes and cheese.

Drizzle the Tastealotta EVOO over everything.

Drizzle the Tastealotta 18 yr Traditional Balsamic Vinegar over everything.

Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper, to taste.

Serve immediately.
